Everyone of us has wireless router into his home.
Isn't it sad when you go somewhere, you are waiting for something or whatever and you need to open up a website or use the Internet for some reason.
You don't have mobile Internet or it's 64kbps which for me is not "I have Internet".
If you want to get something you have to give something
..people said. And they are right.
If you have ever wanted to use the Internet and there have been a lot of password-protected networks and none free - think for a second.
Is your home network free? If someone is into your shoes and sees your network as a protected one?
If you want to make the world a better place start with yourself so open your router's admin panel and setup a free network.
In my TP-Link WDR3500 it's called Guest network. What I did is to:
- Limit the Egress and Ingress bandwidths to 1024kbps
- Start it as a 2.4GHz network named "Vireless free"
- Disable wireless security
- Access time set to 24h everyday
Even if I help just one person I would be happy because somebody else (or the same person?) has helped me when I had the need.
For me 1mbps is not a big deal but for someone it might be. :)
